| Condition | Grade | Description |
|---|---|---|
| PRISTINE | 10 | A truly exceptional card with virtually no visible flaws. Corners are sharp, edges are clean, the surface is clear, and centering appears well balanced. Under normal viewing, it presents as flawless. Reserved for cards preserved at the highest standard. |
| GEM MINT | 10 | An outstanding card with only the slightest imperfections, often difficult to notice without close inspection. Corners and edges remain sharp, and the surface maintains strong visual quality. Minor characteristics do not meaningfully affect overall eye appeal. |
| MINT | 9 | A high-quality card showing very minimal signs of handling. Minor surface lines or slight edge or corner touches may be visible upon closer inspection. Overall presentation remains strong and visually appealing. |
| NM MINT | 8 | A well-maintained card with light, visible wear consistent with careful handling. Small surface marks, minor whitening, or moderate centering variation may be present. The card retains solid overall eye appeal. |
| NEAR MINT | 7 | A card with noticeable but moderate wear. Corners or edges may show clear signs of handling, and centering may be visibly off. Structurally intact with a balanced overall presentation. |
| EX-NM | 6 | A card with visible wear across multiple areas. Surface marks, whitening, or softened corners are more apparent. The card remains intact without major structural damage. |
| EXCELLENT | 5 | A moderately worn card with consistent signs of handling. Surface scratches, edge wear, and centering imbalance may be clearly visible. Structural integrity remains intact. |
| VG-EX | 4 | A card with significant visible wear that affects overall presentation. Corners may be rounded, edges worn, and surface imperfections noticeable. Overall condition shows substantial handling. |
| VERY GOOD | 3 | A heavily worn card with substantial edge wear, corner rounding, and visible surface flaws. Centering may be poor and overall appearance noticeably affected. |
| GOOD | 2 | A card with major visible wear and damage. Structural strength may be weakened, and multiple defects are clearly present. |
| POOR | 1 | A severely damaged card with extensive wear or structural defects. May include creases, tears, stains, or other significant issues. |
